returns
If a garment is not quite right for you, you can reach us on contact@winniecatherine.co.nz to request a refund or store credit up to ten days after your date of delivery. Orders to be returned after the ten days period will not be accepted.
terms and conditions for returns:
general:
+ Winnie Catherine will exchange, refund to gift voucher, or refund to original payment method any full price item purchased through winniecatherine.co.nz, with the exception of scrunchies.
+ the Winnie Catherine garment(s) must be unworn, in original condition, and with all labels and swing tags still attached.
+ Please ensure the Winnie Catherine garment(s) is to be returned within the ten day period, with the studio being notified via email prior to sending back. It must have tracking added to the parcel, and the tracking number sent to the WC team. See below for a step-by-step process.
+ Eligible exchanges can be for an item of equal or lesser value The customer must pay for the price difference on any exchange to an item of higher value. The difference in price will be refunded to gift voucher on any exchange to an item of lesser value.
made-to-measure garments:
+ the Winnie Catherine garment(s) cannot be returned if the garment's pattern has been altered to fit the customer's. Made-to-measure items are non-exchangable/non-refundable.
discounted items:
+ If the Winnie Catherine garment(s) was purchased with a promotional code (e.g. 10% off), it is considered discounted and are eligible for exchange or gift voucher refund only. Refunds to original payment methods will not be provided for change of mind returns on discounted purchases.
shipping :
+ Any returns or exchange shipping costs are to be paid for by the customer.
faulty items:
+ If an item is deemed faulty by the WC team, an exchange or refund can be credited to the original purchaser’s credit card. A return label will also be provided for the faulty item. We will assess the Winnie Catherine garment(s) once returned to ensure it meets our criteria before a refund or exchange will be processed. Please allow for up to 10 working days for any refund to be issued to your bank account once confirmed by our team. If you have concerns about your Winnie Catherine garment(s) being faulty, please email contact@winniecatherine.co.nz
store credit:
+ In this policy, a gift voucher is equivalent to store credit. Gift vouchers are issued digitally, are valid for 12 months from the date of issue, and can be used toward any product available at winniecatherine.co.nz. Gift vouchers can be used across multiple orders until the balance is fully redeemed, and any remaining balance will be retained on the voucher for future use.
how to return or exchange:
- Email us at contact@winniecatherine.co.nz with your return or exchange request. Please include your order number, the Winnie Catherine item(s) you wish to return or exchange, and the reason for the return.
- Once your return request is approved, we’ll send you the return address and any additional instructions. Returns will not be accepted without prior email confirmation.
- Carefully repackage the item(s), ensuring all tags are attached and the garment is in original, unworn condition. Send the parcel using a tracked courier service.
- Email your tracking number to contact@winniecatherine.co.nz as soon as the parcel has been sent.
- Once we receive your return, we will inspect the item(s) to ensure they meet our return conditions. You’ll be notified via email of the outcome (approval or rejection), and next steps will be provided accordingly.
+ Please note, Winnie Catherine is not responsible for lost returns. We recommend retaining your tracking receipt.
+ Returns that do not meet our criteria (e.g., worn, washed, or altered garments) will not be accepted.
